The Class:  The emphasis of this workshop will be on training the eye to more accurately perceive the essentials (color, value, drawing and edges) for direct painting.  Instructor demonstrations will be followed by student painting.  There will then be intensive instructor critique.  Slides of master artists will be shown and discussed.  This class will be taught with non-solvent oil paints ONLY.

THE INSTRUCTOR: With his art Dan Gerhartz intends to capture the subtleties in the created world and human emotions as to point to the magnificence of God the creator, not to the artist the conveyor.
