DEPOSITS: $100 for tuition and $100 for room and board to guarantee spaces. Checks or money orders payable to Fechin Art Workshops. Please send full balance if less than 90 days until class begins.

Please note: NM sales tax (6.875%) will be added to all tuition and room and board fees.

BALANCES: All balances for tuition and room and board are due in full 90 days or more prior to class or space is forfeited. THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! NO REMINDERS SENT.

REFUNDS: All deposits are refundable (less $100 handling fee per class) ONLY if cancellation occurs 90 days or more prior to class, otherwise ALL MONIES ARE FORFEITED. We recommend refundable airline tickets. Please no exceptions! (Refunds are processed 30 days after cancellation.)

TRANSFERS: Deposits may be applied to another class (no fee charged–transfers must occur within the same calendar year).

WAITING LIST: Classes fill quickly. If a class is full when your registration is received you are automatically placed on the waiting list and notified if space becomes available.

FACILITIES: All classes are conducted at the Donner Ranch – 18 miles north of Taos. Driving times: 5 hrs.–Denver, 11/2 hrs.–Santa Fe, 3 hrs.–Albuquerque. Closest major airline service Albuquerque & Denver. Shuttlebus service available from Albuquerque airport directly to Taos or Donner Ranch. (Further info. sent with registration confirmation.)

The Ranch is at 8,000 ft. elevation, with full art studio, housing, meals and ideal location settings in the surrounding acreage. Temperatures vary from 35 degrees F - 85 degrees F with snow by mid-October. Be prepared with coats, raingear, sweaters, sturdy shoes, hats & sunscreen. Our art studio is open 24 hrs. There is one art supply store in Taos.

TAOS:The Taos area has a long and colorful history with its 3 distinct cultures. The Indian Pueblo dates to 1150 and the Spanish settled here in the 1600's. The Taos Art Colony was formed in the 1920's. Today many artists, writers and other seekers of beauty are drawn to the splendor and serenity of the high desert mountain area.

SPECIAL EVENTS:Throughout the year Taos offers Indian ceremonies, arts festivals, balloon fiesta, as well as river rafting, horseback riding, tennis, health club and golf. Contact Taos Chamber of Commerce (575)758-3873.
